We are a family of 9 members from Mumbai, along with a small pet. We finally found this hotel that offered us an unforgettable stay with our pet, giving amazing and breathtaking views, comfortable rooms, a serene ambience and conectedness to nature!! The staff was also friendly and understanding that made us feel like home. The cook, Mr. Manish provided us with delicious and hygenic food Lastly, talking about the owner - Mr. Omkar Singh and his wife, Mrs. Radha were extremely humble and true to their kind. He was always open to suggestions and had a room for improvements. Though the hotel is a little far from the main market area, the experience of this stay of 4 nights was really special to us and it’s a must visit if you ever plan for Dalhousie! ~ meet

Stay date : 14 aug - 16 aug, 2025 We had an amazing stay at Hill Mount View. The service was top notch. Food is excellent and authentic. Rooms were neat and clean. Omkar ji and his son Abishek ji were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Location : Situated 10km from Gandhi Chowk. The final 2 km stretch is prone to landslides. We were also stuck while reaching the hotel during our sightseeing. The hotel owner arranged separate vehicles for us to pick us safely. The debris is cleared quickly thereby not hampering the transport without much delay. Better to visit in summer or good season Overall,the stay is worth for the price. Special mention to Chef Manish for his tasty and delicious food throughout the stay. ~ Manikandan &

Perfect family stay♥️ We stayed at Hill Mount View Homestay in Dalhousie for 4 days with our 4-year-old child — and honestly, it was one of the most peaceful and refreshing experiences we’ve had. The rooms were super clean, spacious, and came with a private balcony offering breathtaking mountain views — perfect for enjoying morning tea or just relaxing. The location is calm, away from the chaos, yet very accessible. What truly made the stay special were the owners — such warm, genuine people who made us feel at home. It was really great experience to stay in this hotel at dalhousie....its little far from main city around 8 Kms and roads were under development....but when we reached at hotel, we really loved the place and view from hotel....and all our tiredness just gone.... View from hotel is awesome and there are mountains all around the hotel....mountains with snow .....and it was peaceful atmosphere....we really enjoyed it... Mr. Omkar, the owner of hotel, welcomed us as family members and also the food served by hotel was also nice and hygienic.....they make foods in front of you....according to your test.... During my family trip to Dalhousie, I booked this hotel through the Agoda site. Initially, I felt quite frustrated due to the challenging route and the hotel's distance from the city. However, the moment I reached the hotel, it felt nothing short of heaven! The breathtaking view perfectly matched its name, and I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it was. In our trip to Dalhousie we stayed at Hotel HiLL Mount View Dalhousie. The breathtaking views and beautifully maintained yard was so peaceful and an unforgettable atmosphere. The rooms fresh, clean and cozy. The food was so homey, every meal so delicious. What captured the essence of the place was the family that hosted us, so warm and welcoming. Guiding us throughout the trip with roads, food and everything we needed. They hosted us so well during the new year-bonfire, songs, dance, karaoke, just perfect. The property is about a 50 minute drive from Dalhousie Gandhi Chowk, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. The food, the view, the calm vibes, even that little treehouse-style dining area, it all adds up to a beautiful experience. The owner and his family are warm and welcoming, which makes the stay even better. I visited with my family just to relax, and it was perfect for that. If your idea of a trip is hopping around markets, this place might feel a bit remote since there isn’t a proper market nearby but if you’re here for peace, good food, and stunning views, you’ll love it as much as I did. So I went to this place with my family at the end of June 2025 for six days vacation. I must say the service is great, food is excellent and so the owner him self Mr Onkar and his wife are great host. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful stay this is the place to go and make your self relax. This place is in Talai which is about 10km from Dalhousie but worth staying there. Rooms are also clean and in good condition. I wish them a good luck and keep doing the great job and be a good host as you are. ~ sumit c

Best hotel to book in dalhousie, location is best with beautiful scenes just beside your room and food is best like home. The staff is very polite and helpful. Music system for family entertainment is very good. This has everything what you want and the best part is you can go for walk anytime and enjoy pleasant weather with beautiful sunset and sunrise. Highly recommended, the staff is very familiar and nice, the view are breathtaking and the hospitality is awsome. You can visit it with friends, family and even solo. Very safe and over all view of dal housie. You can come at any season. Only 20 min far from mall road and staying at mall road is not worth it when you have option of this budget friendly hotel with awsome and breath taking views.
